Each pack of BCAA Sweets contain 1190 mg of iBCAAs (essential protein building blocks, 2:1:1) and a prebiotic called Fructooligosaccharide (FOS) made using natural strawberry flavouring to make taking BCAAs and prebiotics fun and easy. They are low calorie, vegan, and non-cariogenic (meaning they do not cause teeth cavities).

BCAA is a general term for the essential amino acids valine, leucine, and isoleucine that are metabolised by the body and used as sources of muscle energy and general body maintenance. They are referred to as Branched Chain Amino Acids because the molecular structure of these three amino acids includes branches. BLOCKHEAD uses the highest quality and most pure form of BCAAs - iBCAAs. iBCAA aids with absorption and is faster and more efficient than BCAA formulas commonly used on the market. We have used a 2:1:1 ration which is reference to the rations of L-leucine, L-valine, and L-isoleucine.
Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) is a prebiotic naturally found in chicory, onions, asparagus, wheat, tomatoes and other fruits, vegetables and grains. In our BCAA Sweets it is from sugar cane. Once consumed, fructooligosaccharides move to the large intestine to stimulate the production of microbiota in the colon and gastrointestinal track which results in numerous benefits to gut health. FOS replaces sugar in BLOCKHEAD’s Sweets which is great because they are also very low in calories, non-cariogenic (do not cause teeth cavities) and are considered as soluble dietary fibre.
Pre-biotics are specialised fibre that acts as food for the good bacteria in your gut, stimulating growth among the pre-existing good bacteria and creating an environment where microorganisms can flourish.
We use FOS in our BCAA Sweets instead of traditional sugar which is naturally low in calories.
You can take BCAA Sweets at any time, we recommend taking them before a workout to experience more energy and stamina while exercising as well as prevent muscle breakdown during a workout.
We recommend not exceeding one pack of BCAA Sweets per day.
