BLOCKHEAD BCAA Sweets are packed with BCAAs which are essential amino acids L-leucine, L-valine and L-isoleucine. BCAAs are metabolised by the body as sources of muscle energy and general body upkeep. Owing to their molecular structure having branches, they are called Branched-Chain Amino Acids. We use the purest form of BCAAs – iBCAAs. This high-quality formula helps the individual acids absorb faster and more efficiently than other commonly used solutions. When creating our product, we use rations of L-leucine, L-valine, and L-isoleucine in the ratio 2:1:1 for the best balance of energy and upkeep.

It’s found in fruits, vegetables and grains from wheat, chicory and asparagus to onions and tomatoes. But in BLOCKHEAD SWEETS+, it comes from sugar cane.

What does it do?

Once consumed, FOS shoots to the large intestine, stimulating microbiota production in the colon and gastrointestinal track and benefiting your gut health in multiple ways. Our BCAA Sweets use FOS instead of sugar, making them a soluble dietary fibre. Plus, they’re very low in calories and non-cariogenic, meaning they don’t cause teeth cavities.

BCAA is a general term for the essential amino acids valine, leucine, and isoleucine that are metabolised by the body and used as sources of muscle energy and general body maintenance. They are referred to as Branched Chain Amino Acids because the molecular structure of these three amino acids includes branches. BLOCKHEAD uses the highest quality and most pure form of BCAAs - iBCAAs. iBCAA aids with absorption and is faster and more efficient than BCAA formulas commonly used on the market. We have used a 2:1:1 ration which is reference to the rations of L-leucine, L-valine, and L-isoleucine.
Fructooligosaccharides (FOS) is a prebiotic naturally found in chicory, onions, asparagus, wheat, tomatoes and other fruits, vegetables and grains. In our BCAA Sweets it is from sugar cane. Once consumed, fructooligosaccharides move to the large intestine to stimulate the production of microbiota in the colon and gastrointestinal track which results in numerous benefits to gut health. FOS replaces sugar in BLOCKHEAD’s Sweets which is great because they are also very low in calories, non-cariogenic (do not cause teeth cavities) and are considered as soluble dietary fibre.
Pre-biotics are specialised fibre that acts as food for the good bacteria in your gut, stimulating growth among the pre-existing good bacteria and creating an environment where microorganisms can flourish.
We use FOS in our BCAA Sweets instead of traditional sugar which is naturally low in calories.
You can take BCAA Sweets at any time, we recommend taking them before a workout to experience more energy and stamina while exercising as well as prevent muscle breakdown during a workout.
We recommend not exceeding one pack of BCAA Sweets per day.
BCAA Sweets are not suitable for children.
